blood pressure, diabetes, rheumatism, are pregnant, use blood thinners, Also, avoid
acute hernias, open wounds or severe skin problems such as psoriasis, rosacea and
allergic rashes. For some people, it may still be okay to practise cupping during
certain circumstances, while for others, it may not be suitable. and for some people
not. Depending on the state of health. You should not cup over varicose veins or
large superficial blood vessels, nor over birthmarks that are above the surface of the skin. Instead move around those areas as well as reduce the vacuum by relieving the cup pressure when you are near the varicose veins. Do not cup if you are a cancer patient during treatment, have acute infections and/or
inflammation, fever or if you are a stroke patient. Cupping should be used with caution by children and the elderly and always consult your doctor first if you are unsure. For facial cupping do not/or be careful to cup directly over Botox or fillers.
