Circulation is the word used to describe the constant movement that circulates the blood around the body and is made possible by the pumping of the heart. This movement or blood flow occurs in a network called blood vessels. Circulation can be increased with exercise, physical activity, dry brushing and massage.

Blood circulation causes nutrients, oxygen and hormones to be transported into the body’s tissues. At the same time, the blood also removes and transports slag products to promote the health of the body’s tissues. Poor circulation can cause problems with fitness, memory, muscle mass, cold hands and feet, dizziness, concentration, fatigue and angina.
